The Mercedes-Benz E 320 was a quartet of luxury cars comprised of a sedan, a wagon, a coupe, and a convertible. The model was part of the greater Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and it ran between model years 1994 and 2009.
Initially, the sedan and wagon offered seating for up to five, while the coupe and convertible seated as many as four. All four body styles incorporated 217-horsepower, 3.2-liter, six-cylinder engines. In 1998, 4MATIC®, the proprietary Mercedes-Benz all-wheel-drive system, debuted, and in 2005, a CDI trim with a diesel variant of the V6 became available.
Skip ahead to model-year 2007, and a turbocharged 208-horsepower, 3.0-liter diesel V6 would be on offer, mated to a choice of either a five- or a seven-speed automatic transmission. AWD would remain an option, and features would range from an in-dash six-disc CD changer and sunroof to keyless ignition, adaptive headlights, and more. For its final year, the car's diesel engine made 210 horsepower.
