What are Some Common Mercedes-Benz S 430 Problems?
Faulty Suspension
The pump in the AIRMATIC® suspension in some S 430 models may fail, and the mount bushings may wear out. This is a known issue for 2000-2006 models with 1,500,000 miles or fewer. The signs of it include a dead battery, strange noises coming from the front axle driving on bumpy roads, buzzing sounds while the pump is running, and the pump running continuously, even after the car's turned off.
