Crafted to get heads turning, Mercedes-Benz CL 55 AMG was quite the dynamic, high-performing coupe. This two-door model was compact and speedy, designed to flow throughout traffic and accelerate past other luxury cars with ease. The first CL 55 AMG had a powerful 5.0L V8 302-horsepower engine that was impressive in and of itself. But, of course, Mercedes-Benz had to step it up a notch, eventually producing the CL 55 AMG with a supercharged V8 engine that boosted horsepower up to 493. The loud roar of this engine combined with quiet comfort experienced inside the cabin creates for a mix of luxury and performance that most cars struggle to achieve. Discontinued back in 2006, this sporty coupe met its goal of getting heads turning and jaws dropping every year it was in production.
