Mercedes CL 500 was considered the new flagship coupe. With this redesign, the CL 500 was largely popular in the luxury vehicle scene. This C-Class model was a bit less expensive than other sporty coupes on the market in the 2000s, making it even more popular for drivers across the country. When first introduced back in 2000, the model came with an impressive 5.0L V8 engine that put out a little over 300 horsepower. Then, in 2001, the CL 500 was upgraded even more with an unheard of V12 that had yet to be used in any other Mercedes-Benz models. The inside of the CL 500 was luxurious and Classy, though it didnt boast too many bells and whistles. Instead, the cabin contained everything you needed and nothing you didnt, making it a perfect, straightforward coupe back in the early 2000s.
